County Clare

Today's post is about my trip with the International society! (such an amazing society)

The International society decied to take us to visit County Clare on a rainy and windy day. It was a Saturday morning of November. It had been raining the day before which it is not uncommon in Ireland and that morning was obviously raining.

All the international students met at 9 am in front of the library where two buses where waiting for us. Once we got there, my friends fell asleep and I turned on the music. We arrived to our first stop around 10:30 am and it wasn't raining, a miracle!

Our first stop was LaHinch Beach. It is located in the northwest coat of County Clare and it quite famous because there is where people practice surf. It is also famous for its Golf Club.
The first thing we did after leaving the bus was to loook for a coffee shop because we were freezing.

As you can see in the photo, the day was not  very  pleasant. And being honest, we did not do  too many things in LaHinch. Noboday wanted to  take a swim or to surf.

After 45 minutes in the cold LaHinch, we came back to the bus again heading to our next stop. You wouldn't believe what was the next one. Another beach. Yes, you have read it right. We went to another beach but this one was a little bit special, closet to our heart.

And it is closet to our hearts because this beach is called Spanish Point. It is located on the west coat of Ireland. It is called Spanish Point in memory of the boats of the Spanish Armada that wrecked there 1588.

As with LaHinch, this one of the best places to practice surf.

And now, I am going to show you one of the most beautiful, amazing, breathtaking places that you have ever visited.
After being in Spanish Point, we went to Kilkee. The plan was that bus let us in Kilkee and we all together had to go to Kilkee Cliffs by walking (one hour). The weather was so so badly that they let us choose between going there by walking or by bus. Some of us were more intelligent and decided to stay on the bus. The bus dirver took us to the cliffs. We spent one hour there, playing the guitar and singing songs.

But it was time to be a little bit brave and face the rain to take these breathtaking photos.

Maybe you do not appreaciate the beautiful of the place but believe, the views are amazing. It was completely worthy to step out of the bus to take these photos.

Oh and there is me. I remember taking that photo. I was like "please, hurry up, it is cold here, I am getting wet".
It was really awesome being there, you felt like you were like the Queen of the world.

Even though the weather was awful, the day was incredible amazing. I will never forget that day because it was one of the best days of my life. - Laura 🎔
