Adare

Yesterday, I added a new adventure to list. I visit one of the cutest villages of Ireland. This cute village is called Adare and it located in the south of County Limerick, just 30 minutes away from Limerick city. I did not know about the existence of Adare until some friends went there and I saw their photos in Instagram. 03/02/18 Adare is a small town, a very small town but at the same time, it's very beautiful because it has some nice houses. I like to describe it as a fairly tale town. I spent the morning there. I took some photos to the park, the Cathedral and some of the houses. 03/02/18 There's a fun story of that day. A castl was supossed to be opened that day for visitors. To go to that castle, you have to cross a road in which there is not pavement so you go literally next to the cars. Well, the castle was closed and I risked my life for absolutely nothing. 03/02/18 <--- That is the castle I risked my life for. And basically this is

County Clare

Today's post is about my trip with the International society! (such an amazing society) The International society decied to take us to visit County Clare on a rainy and windy day. It was a Saturday morning of November. It had been raining the day before which it is not uncommon in Ireland and that morning was obviously raining. All the international students met at 9 am in front of the library where two buses where waiting for us. Once we got there, my friends fell asleep and I turned on the music. We arrived to our first stop around 10:30 am and it wasn't raining, a miracle! Our first stop was LaHinch Beach. It is located in the northwest coat of County Clare and it quite famous because there is where people practice surf. It is also famous for its Golf Club. The first thing we did after leaving the bus was to loook for a coffee shop because we were freezing.    photo taken by me 11/11/17 As you can see in the photo, the day was not  very  pleasant. And

Galway

After a while, I am here again with a new story about my new life. Today's post is about my trip to Galway. On 22nd September, my first trip outside Limerick took place. At 5pm, my train to Galway departed. While I was sitting on the train, I was imagining the different places of Galway, the people, the weather (not really, it is Ireland, same weather everywhere). Around 8.30 pm, the train arrived to Galway. Like it was at night, I did not really see too much, but I was getting an idea of what I was going to see the next day. The next morning, I woke up around 10 am after sleeping in one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, seriously, it was like being in a cloud. Okay, let's go back to what it is important. That Saturday, I was taken by roommate (she is from Galway, she invited me to stay at her home) to see the beautiful city of Galway.  Our first stop of the day was the NUI Galway. photo taken by me 22/09/17 Like all universities, it has its ancient p

First month away from home

It's been a month since I left my home to begin a new chapter in my life. The morning of the 25th August, I decided to package all my things and take a plane to a new different country, Ireland. We, my parents and little sister accompained me, arrived at Dublin at 2pm and took a bus to Limerick, the city I will call home for the next eight months. The bus trip was really long, it took almost 4 hours to arrive at Limerick, but it wasn't that bad, I took photos of every single thing we saw. photo taken by me 25/08/17 Ireland is known for being a very religious country and it's true. There are churches every 10 steps. I saw that one while I was one the bus. As you can see, it's huge and the cementery is also next to it ( you can't appreciate it on the photo). But there are not only christian churches, but also polish or ... churches. But Ireland is also known for being a green country and serioulsy this is the most beuatiful thing of it. There's green ev
